Shamefully Neglected

Yes, I do mean my blog. Sorry, blog... :(

I've been busy with a growing Bibbit, making stuff, and planning on making stuff...
The little imp has decided to stop growing, so I've been doing a lot of feeding. He's dropped down from the 90th percentile, to the 10th. While this worries me, Dr. E says it's no big deal. I'm short, and TJ is skinny, so she wasn't expecting him to stay a bruiser forever. At 10 months, he weighs 17 lbs, 14 oz, and is 28.5 inches long... He hasn't gained even a full pound in 4 months. I feel like a bad mom, even though he eats EVERYTHING, and is always nomming me.

GW also let me have a year's worth of PonyIsland... So, I've been doing that, too. I loves me some ponies!! This one's my favorite so far... Her name is StarCloud Radiance, nicknamed Cloudy Day, and she's a Purrpony. SQUEEEE!!
I made this for GW... Bibbit's first "cruise" around the living room... I only had my phone to take pictures with (we left our camera battery chargers at the hotel when we went to PAX... DOH!) so they're a little fuzzy, but you get the idea.

I have to go back to being a mom now... That Bibbit keeps me busy!

I Heart Ponies!

I love horses. I always have. Once upon a time, one of my uncles bought me a horse. I named her Sarah. She was old, and not much good for anything except (very) occasional rides, but I loved her to death. When she had to be put down, they didn't tell me the truth then. They just said she'd moved away, and I didn't learn what had actually happened until I was much older and able to take the real news without pitching an eternal fit.
When I was younger, I also kept an extensive collection of My Little Ponies. They were really the only toys I ever played with. GW found me an online game a couple of years ago called Ponystars, which was recently cancelled. That made me very sad, as I had put many hours into breeding and dressing up my ponies. Their original creator still maintains the French version of the game, Poney Vallee. But they annoy me with their 20-day waiting time for foals to grow up.

So ANYWAY.... The whole point of this post was that I made a new dipe. With PONIES!!!! I found the flannel in the remnants bin when I was looking for flannel for wipes... GW said I couldn't get it, because it was a John Deere print. He relented when I told him "But nothing wipes like a Deere!!" (He cracked up, 'cause he likes my dumb jokes.) The fabric grew on me as I made my wipes, so I saved enough for a diaper, too. It's also fully snapped, which is totally awesome! This is the first dipe I have that has all of them where they need to be, because I was able to put them on before the dipe was finished. The pictures make it look a little wonky, but I assure you, this is the best dipe I've made yet.
